McCalls 6270

Here is the pattern I used for this shirt. I actually made this shirt a year ago but it was huge on Abby.
It was fairly easy but I wish I would have taken the time to use pink thread in my serger. I don't know if you can tell but the ruffles have white thread on the underside. I love the colors in this shirt because they look so good on Abby.

Simplicity 3856

This is the second time I have used this pattern. If you remember I used it to make the Valentine's Day skirt.

Here is Abby in her dress and cover. I love how the dress fits but not really sure about the cover.

Here is Kaylee in her dress and cover. I think the outfit looks better on Kaylee because of her coloring.

Here are the dresses without the cover. Don't like how it washes out the girls.

Here is Kaylee modeling the outfit. She is a little ham. I have to say the skirt was much cuter than the dress!

Various Projects

Here are some projects that I made without patterns.

Simplicity 2989

Here is the dress I made for Disney World. As you can see the model wasn't too happy with having to pose.

Here is one of the pictures taken at Disney World.

Here are our Easter outfits I made in 2009. I used Simplicity 5695 for Abby's dress and Butterick 4461 for my skirt. This was the first pattern sewing I had ever done.

Here are the pattern envelopes.

Pillowcase Dresses

One of the easiest dresses to make are pillowcase dresses. I have made many of these mostly because they are easy and fast to put together. Here are a few of the past dresses I have made.
